DVD Review: License to Wed

If you're looking for a comedy that you don't have to think too much about and you just want to be entertained, well then License to Wed might be perfect for you. John Krasinski and Mandy Moore plays a couple that just got engaged and, in order to get married, they must get the approval of the pastor/priest type-guy (Robin Williams). Robin Williams puts the couple through a series of tests in order to see if they are ready to be married and to be sure that the marriage will last. You should be able to see how everything will end up as you watch the movie, but that's fine since you'll just be watching it to be entertained, right? The only real problem I had with the movie was John Krasinski. Don't get me wrong; he played his part well. I just kept expecting Mandy Moore to call him Jim (his character from The Office). In fact, his character in License to Wed and The Office have similar personalities.

Like I said, if you want to be entertained and you don't want to think too much about a movie, at least check this one out. I doubt it would be worth buying for a few years (when it's part of one of those 5 DVD's for $10 deals at Circuit City).
